Outdoor Provincials 2012

We are pleased to announce that the following teams have succesfully competed at the 2012 Outdoor Provincials in Edmonton:

Major:                   Callies  Major - Silver

Premier:              Jaguars Premier - Bronze,  NSD Panthers - 4th place

Division1:            SF Cobras - Bronze,  Eastside Wrangler Raiders - 4th place

Division 2:            Revolution FC - Gold,  Mercury FC -  Silver

Division 3:            Hustlers FC - Gold

Classics Major:  Calgary Spirit - Gold, Tsunami Blues - Silver

are scheduled to take place from August 31 - September 3, 2012 in Edmonton

ASA Provincial Call-up Form

If you are eligible to attend Provincials, please be notified that we need the signed rosters as well as the copies of your Community Coach Certification by Tuesday, August 20th , 5 pm at our office in order to approve your provincial roster.  The forms can be found on TeamStream/Rosters/Print Options/ Official Bonzi Full Roster.  Please sign where it says: Club Registrar's Signature.  If you need any assistance to obtain your team’s roster, please call the office.

 You can fax or email the forms to us, but please make sure that the head coach has signed the roster.

 As per  ASA rules

Outdoor Provincial Rules 15.2 and 15.3: 

Every head coach involved in any Outdoor Provincial Competitions must be certified at the appropriate Community Coach Level:

     Active for Life or Senior Community Coach certified for Senior Teams. 

If a new (non-certified) coach takes over a team leading into a Provincial Championship, dispensation is granted for the next two (2) years from the time his/her name appears on the team’s registration. 


4.6. All Coaches and Staff listed on an Alberta Soccer roster competing in a Regional or Provincial Championship are required to complete and obtain CPIC Security Clearance, or if not police cleared, pass their District Review Committee Process. Written confirmation of the CPIC Clearance must accompany each team roster submitted by the District to the Alberta Soccer office.


If you wish to confirm that you have a current CPIC on file, please call the office.


The ASA Provincial Competition Play-Up form is available above.  Please note the special rules that apply to call-ups in the Outdoor Provincial Rule Book.


If your team is not able to attend Provincials please let us know at least 15 days prior to the competition.  Otherwise your team will be assessed administration fees according to ASA rules 9.1 and CWSA rules 4.7.4.a and 4.7.4.b.

    The following teams have opted out of ASA Provincial Contention for the Indoor 2018/19 season:


    - Savanna

    Division 1

    - Villains FC Rebels - declared for Over 30 Classics Major

    Division 2*

    - Blizzard Cruisers

    - Blizzard Typhoons

    Division 3

    - Apothic FC

    - Callies Sirens

    - Force United

    Over 30 Classics Premier

    - Jags

    - Missfits


    * As of January 10th, Villains FC Revolution are currently eligible to participate in Division 2 Provincials as per rule in the CWSA Rules and Regulations. Final determination on their eligibility will be made on February 1st (after the transfer deadline).

    All other teams are eligible for ASA Provincials.

    A team is considered to have qualified for provincials if they finish the season in the top 2, of the teams who have NOT opted out, of their division.
